who we are

Wordsouth sprang to life in 2010, born from a passion to promote books and writing.

Although reading and writing can be solitary activities, they also spark ideas and worlds that burn to be shared.

We aim to provide a forum for this, creating all sorts of reading and writing communities along the way.

We are a social enterprise, operating in and around Havant, where any profits are ploughed back to fund programs of work which we believe will bring the joy of words to those who might otherwise miss out, enhancing lives and life chances.
